Career transplant to Johnstown to work with the wonderful folks at PFS Insurance. What an exciting career I've had!
I was the President and sole stockholder of Mountain West Insurance, Incorporated since 1987, and joined Mountain West in 1978. Prior to joining the family agency, worked briefly for the General Adjustment Bureau as a catastrophic loss (storm) adjuster after Hurricane Allen in Corpus Christi, Texas during the summer and fall of 1980.
I've attained the CIC designation twice, first in 1984 and again in 2008. In 1987, I achieved the ARM deisgnation from the Insurance Institute of America. I enjoy providing insurance expertise to clients and co-workers all over Colorado. I consider no risk to be too small or large in scope to be engaged with! I also enjoy working for various law firms as an expert witness, testifying as to standard practices, duty of care and insurance agency operations. I teach multiple lines of insurance for the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado and for the National Alliance as well (CISR & William T. Hold Seminars).
Specialties: All lines of insurance, risk management, insurance skills and expert testimony
